EXECUTIVE SUMMARY…

The purpose of this paper is to identify ingenuity tactics that will ease the transition of new UX designs, regarding social media sites. The public heavily relies on social media platforms daily and in doing so have become accustomed to the consistency of platforms. Even minor changes to standardized layouts, regardless of quality, have the potential to cause widespread user discontent. However, UX must continue to evolve in efforts to continue to meet the known and unknown needs of its users. This literature review poses tactics, such as text mining, text polarity, persuasion psychology, open forums, and reexamined heuristic evaluation models as potential arenas of solutions.
